Monday Chicken Parmesan, spaghetti, garlic bread, broccoli.
Tuesday Happpy Birthdaaaaay Darian! My kid is turning 12 years old, and we are having Wagyu steak, Caesar Salad, red potatoes, and a fresh baguette with Boursin cheese. Darian’s birthday cake with be Hershey’s perfectly chocolate chocolate cake with Oreo frosting, and a layer of Oreo crumbs on top.
Wednesday I’m taking the night off from cooking, and we’ll be enjoying some of the deli items from Double Dragon Foods. I usually get their spring rolls, a Banh Mi sandwich to share, and whatever kind of curry they have ready to grab and go.
Thursday I’m planning to try out a new recipe for orange glazed pork chops, but I’ll probably add some minced garlic and a few other spices. I’ll serve it with sides of rice, green beans, and rolls.
Friday will be my mini meatloaves, red potatoes, and broccoli.
Weekend cooking will start out with French Toast, bacon, fruit, and jalapeño poppers for brunch. I’ll continue my tribute to Seonkyoung Longest by making her Spicy Garlic Shrimp Noodles, and if I’m especially motivated, I’ll see if I can track down 7 pounds of Beef Short Ribs as well. If I can’t find the short ribs, I’ll try out Giada’s chicken saltimbocca instead. I’m also planning to make a big batch of my meaty-but-not-Bolognese-tomato-pasta-sauce for the coming week, and probably some kind of soup or stew as well.
